Pigmented Lesions Mexico
Benign pigmented lesions can be genetic, caused by sunburns, wounds, or be a natural aging effect. These lesions may vary in size and color. We need to be 100% certain that the lesion is indeed benign before removal. Laser treatments consist of light pulses, which target the epidermis. Light is absorbed by the high concentrated melanin in pigmented lesions.
Selective photo-thermolysis (removal of skin’s spots) is a technique in which melanin changes light’s energy to heat, that will destroy the keratinocyte, where melanin is stored.
The visible light generated by the laser system is carefully controlled to apply the correct amount, exact time and wavelength in each pulsation to destroy the target area without damaging the surrounding tissue.
