Alopecia Treatment Mexico
Alopecia, hair transplant, hair treatment.
Hair transplant techniques have improved since the time when the surgery would leave the patient with what was referred as “doll’s hair”. Today, micro grafts, also known as follicular unit hair grafts provides the patient natural looking and permanent results.
The surgeon will remove a strip of hair-bearing scalp from the back of the head. Then he will separate it into follicular units, which he will use to create a graft that will be inserted in the bolding areas. Follicles are set according to the area’s natural hair growth reducing the “bolding areas”. In each session, 1000 to 1500 hairs may be implanted. In longer sessions, more than 2000 hairs may be implanted. Local anesthesia is used in the surgery; sedation may be used if required. We must impress upon the fact that implanted hair will not be lost since results are permanent and will be noticeable with in six months to a year after the procedure.
