Gynecomastia or male breast enlargement is not an unusual condition for men. A third of male population suffer it and around 65% of boys develop a certain degree of breast enlargement during puberty; which usually disappears around their 18th birthday.

Breast tissue in men with Gynecomastia is firm; but when the enlargement is caused by fat, tissue is soft.

Each case of Gynecomastia needs to be reviewed individually. Reduction can be done by liposuction, surgery or both.
